BGSU One Day has ended. You can still make a gift by clicking here.

Future of Journalism Fund

Recently created by a generous donor, the Future of Journalism Fund supports the exploration and engagement with new or emerging topics within the field of journalism. As a supporter of this fund, you will be providing the School of Media and Communication the opportunity to provide enriching activities to enhance student learning, guest speakers, executives in residence, and student professional development.

International Studies Program Fund

The International Studies Program at BGSU encourages students to explore cultures and interdisciplinary practices that expand their horizons. It is difficult to study cultures around the world without leaving home, which explains the International Studies major’s four-week minimum requirement to study abroad.

Please consider contributing to our One Day drive to help create scholarships for students who otherwise would not be able to participate in education abroad.

Administrative Staff Council Scholarship

Last academic year, administrative staff members provided six- $1,000 scholarships to BGSU students who are committed to leadership and service on campus and in the community. Administrative Staff Council seeks to increase its impact on BGSU students by growing the scholarship. Please join us in making a gift on BGSU One Day.

Hillel Program Support Fund

Hillel's mission is to enrich the lives of Jewish undergraduate and graduate students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world. Hillel student leaders, professionals and lay leaders are dedicated to creating a pluralistic, welcoming, and inclusive environment for Jewish college students, where they are encouraged to grow intellectually, spiritually, and socially. Hillel helps students find a balance in being distinctively Jewish and universally human by encouraging them to pursue tzedek (social justice), tikkun olam (repairing the world) and Jewish learning, and to support Israel and global Jewish peoplehood. Hillel is committed to excellence, innovation, accountability, and results.

The Excellence Fund

Your gift to The Excellence Fund provides critical and immediate support to address areas of greatest need at BGSU.  These funds give the University the flexibility to act quickly and decisively when the unexpected arises, strengthen ongoing programs - and reinforce BGSU's ability to be a public university for the public good.

Darin Kerr Memorial Award in Theatrical Excellence Scholarship

The friends and family of Dr. Darin D. Kerr ’15 are establishing the Darin Kerr Memorial Award fund in support of students studying in a theatre program within the Department of Theatre and Film with the goal of recognizing acting excellence in theatrical production at Bowling Green State University in memory of Darin.

Tour Guide Scholarship Fund

Adrea Spoon '01, '06 served as a campus tour guide in the late 90's and the experience changed her life. When 25 gifts are made that will unlock $3000 to support a scholarship for this important group of student leaders.

RallyCap Sports Student Organization

The Bowling Green State University chapter of RallyCap Sports is a student organization that believes people with special needs should be able to participate in and enjoy sports just like everyone else. At the heart of RallyCap Sports is the vision of a world where people of all abilities can share in the joy of sports, and the belief that sports have the power to change the focus from disability to ability and ultimately change lives.

Women In Aviation

The Woman in Aviation Bowling Green Chapter promotes, encourages, and fosters a community for women in the aviation industry.

Throughout the year WAI does tours at airports and companies, in and out of state, to give our members real-life experience. Members also have the opportunity to attend the Women in Aviation International Conference. The conference has every leading aviation company in the country, as well as opportunities to network with professional pilots, companies, and numerous industry leaders.

Money raised will allow WAI to visit more airports and companies across the U.S. It will also help fund the Women in Aviation International Conference each year.

You can make a gift to a fund not listed on the BGSU One Day website here.
