Each year, the Bowling Green State University community comes together to celebrate BGSU One Day – the University’s dedicated day of giving. This 36-hour online fundraising effort has continued to inspire Falcons to give back to their favorite BGSU program, college or area of interest and empower life-changing opportunities for our students.
During last year’s One Day, Athletics raised $658,000 across a multitude of funds. This year, while the amount raised still remains critically important, BGSU Athletics will be laser-focused on the goal of donor participation … at ANY level! This year’s Athletics goal is $750,000, with an aggressive goal of 1,000 unique donors to Athletics funds! Be proud, out loud, Falcon fans … and be counted on BGSU One Day!!
Falcon Club members are once again reminded that you can fully renew your annual membership during One Day and receive the benefits of Falcon Club membership for the 2024-25 school year, including, but not limited to, parking privileges for football, basketball, and hockey season ticket holders.
BGSU Athletics also saw great success in raising money for individual sport enhancement funds last year. We will continue to raise funds for all BGSU sport programs during One Day that will help offset additional needs that are above and beyond their operating budgets. All sports programs are sharing 2-3 immediate needs that will be fulfilled through gifts to their individual sport enhancement funds. While these gifts do not count toward Falcon Club membership for 2024-25, these contributions can provide support for critical and immediate program needs. For fans, parents or letter winners who are only connected to specific programs, this provides an avenue to participate in One Day and contribute to the success of an individual sport program.
