The William T. Jerome Library is considered the academic heart of campus. Through advancing teaching, learning, research, collaboration and discovery we empower a diverse community of users to contribute to the public good.
An undeniable role that the University Libraries fills is providing resources for student success. Private support helps University Libraries meet the needs of all stakeholders from students seeking help with statistics, to distance learners utilizing online resources for an upcoming paper, to faculty conducting nationally recognized research.
Library Enrichment Fund
The Library Enrichment Fund provides for purchasing of materials, collections, facilities improvements, student and faculty support and other emerging needs. This fund also helps support special events designed to encourage use of the Jerome Library, student employee recognition events and leadership and professional development opportunities for library faculty and staff.
University Libraries Student Employee Scholarship Fund
More than 200 student employees of the University Libraries experience financial need, and each year, multiple deserving student employees are awarded scholarships of $1,000. Our goal as the University Libraries is to continue to award even more scholarships every year.
Falcon Learning Your Way (FLY) Program
The FLY Program provides academic support for students with ADHD, specific learning differences, and/or executive function challenges. Students in the FLY Program have weekly one-on-one meetings with their own learning specialist and receive individual learning and tutoring plans. The annual cost is $5,000 and we never want that cost to prevent a student from receiving the personalized support. A gift to this fund would ensure there are no financial hurdles for students wanting to join the FLY Program.
You can make a gift to a fund not listed on the BGSU One Day website here.
