Bowling Green State University Gymnastics Club is a student run organization that encourages everyone to practice gymnastics, no matter their gender or skill level. We practice four times a week, travel to several meets across the state and country, and even host our own home meet. We will use the money raised towards our Flippin Funds! We have a variety of expenses covered by Flippin Funds, including practice fees, leotards, warm-up apparel, and competition fees. We pay to practice at the YMCA Gymnastics Center in Perrysburg, Ohio.
This year, we hosted the Flippin Falcon Cup and had 15 teams compete, including Big 10 schools such as The Ohio State University, University of Michigan, and Indiana University. This year as a team, we traveled to Purdue, Ohio State, and Eastern Michigan. Our athletes placed on the podium at every competition! Last year, we purchased new leotards that are in the team picture. Our club provides numerous opportunities for students of all genders to continue their athletic careers whether it be practicing in Ohio or competing across the country.
