Nontraditional and Military Student Services

The William and Joan Downing Military and Veteran Center

The William and Joan Downing Military and Veteran Center is where military affiliated students study, attend class remotely, relax and socialize. Located within the Nontraditional and Military Student Services office, the center has computer stations and free printing. The students greatly appreciate the free coffee, bottled water and variety of snacks that keep them going throughout the day and into the evening. The coffee, water and snacks are funded through your generous support. Please join us as we continue to support our military students at BGSU.

Nontraditional and Military Student Services

BGSU Nontraditional and Military Student Services (NTMSS) provides support for adult learners, student parents and nontraditional students on their journey to a BGSU degree. NTMSS is working to create a laptop loan program specifically for our nontraditional students and we need your help! The recent move to provide academic flexibility through remote coursework demonstrated that many of our students need access to borrow laptops. Each computer costs $1,500 including a charger and carrying case. Your support today will provide a laptop to loan a nontraditional student next Fall!
