The William T. Jerome Library is considered the academic heart of campus through advancing teaching, learning, research, collaboration and discovery to empower a diverse community of users to contribute to the public good.
An undeniable role that the University Libraries fills is providing resources for student success. Private support helps University Libraries meet the needs of all stakeholders from students seeking help with statistics, to distance learners utilizing online resources for an upcoming paper, to faculty conducting nationally recognized research.
Library Enrichment Fund
The Library Enrichment Fund allows the University Libraries to be responsive to the emerging needs connected to our mission to support academic success and research needs at BGSU. This year, gifts to the Library Enrichment Fund will help support the purchase of a new digital signage board to be placed at the front entrance of the William T. Jerome Library.
The University Libraries Student Employee Scholarship
More than 200 student employees of the University Libraries experience financial need, and each year, multiple deserving student employees are awarded scholarships of $1,000. Our goal as the University Libraries is to continue to award even more scholarships every year, especially during the current pandemic when financial need can be even greater.
Center for Archival Collections
The Center for Archival Collections is an archives and manuscript repository within University Libraries at Bowling Green State University. Our collections are used for scholarly, political, family and genealogical research, and regularly welcomes BGSU students and faculty, local residents and international scholars.
The Learning Commons
The Learning Commons is a collaborative learning environment that supports academic success by providing tutoring, academic coaching and study skills in virtually every subject on campus. Historically, 49% of the students that visit The Learning Commons maintain at or above a 3.0 GPA.
