Paul J. Hooker Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership
The Entrepreneurial Leadership Fund will allow the college to enhance entrepreneurship minor offerings to more students, assist both students and alumni to incubate and launch business ventures and improve E-Week each April to attract entrepreneurial leaders from around the country.
Maurer Center Building Fund
The new Robert W. and Patricia A. Maurer Center supports the college’s vision of a discovery-based learning approach to business education. The Maurer Center will ensure that faculty and students have the appropriate environment to continue the college’s ascent to national and international prominence. The facility, located on Wooster Street, serves as a gateway to the academic core of campus. BGSU seeks investments to support remaining naming opportunities.
Marketing Department Fund
BGSU’s internationally renowned marketing program provides a unique education incorporating real-world experience. This fund allows the college to offer a broad range of resources to support students, including scholarships.
Accounting Department Fund
Today's technologically driven and globally oriented businesses look for graduates with training, education and skills in all facets of accounting. This fund supports accounting students in the Schmidthorst College of Business with scholarships and the means for promoting overall success.
Graduate Studies in Business
Supporting future business leadership, this fund benefits graduate students in advanced degree programs – Master of Business Administration, Master of Accountancy and Master of Organization Development – in the Schmidthorst College of Business. This flexible fund supports scholarships and other resources for student success.
Darwin B. Close Professorship in Insurance
Dr. Darwin Close was a renowned professor of insurance at BGSU. He is beloved by many of his students and they have come together to endow a professorship in Dr. Close’s memory, supporting the recruitment and retention of the best and brightest faculty members in Insurance.
