Katzner Graduate Student Research and Professional Development
An opportunity to contribute to the support of graduate student research is to give to the Katzner Graduate Student Research and Professional Development fund, which provides resources for students completing a thesis or dissertation.
Coverdell Peace Corps Fellows Program
Another opportunity for giving is the Coverdell Peace Corps Fellows program. This is a unique opportunity through the Graduate College, offering returned Peace Corps volunteers the chance to enhance skills and knowledge acquired during service while continuing to help underprivileged communities in the United States.

Shanklin Scholarship Award
Supports the annual Charles E. Shanklin Award for Research Excellence, which is a meritorious award to recognize excellence in original research by BGSU graduate students. Mr. Shanklin was a BGSU alum and served on the BGSU Board of Trustees and as its President. Mr. Shanklin was a champion of students, especially graduate students.
Winifred O. Stone Graduate Student Development Fund
This fund was established to honor the life of Dr. Winifred O. Stone, associate professor emeritus of ethnic studies and former associate dean of the Graduate College at Bowling Green State University. Dr. Stone’s outstanding tenure at BGSU established him as an academic visionary, humanitarian and dedicated university citizen committed to attaining excellence and equity in graduate education. Annual awards recognize superior academic achievement, extraordinary level of artistic achievement, and outstanding leadership in the academic community and may be used for scholarships, conference attendance, research, or other educational related expenses.
