In the dead of night on Oct. 5, 1946, six individuals were specifically handpicked by the president of Bowling Green State University, Frank Prout, to form the official spirit crew for BGSU. Their mission: "Do all in our power to help make Bowling Green State University a better place by promoting school spirit and goodwill among the students and faculty." And from this, SICSIC was born.
Now over 70 years, SICSIC has forever changed Bowling Green State University. The students who serve the BGSU community through this group are dedicated and passionate Falcons. With a three-year commitment, much of their student experience happens in secret behind a mask. As we reflect back on all SICSIC has done to strengthen BGSU, the impact has been tremendous.
