College of Business

Scholarships open a world of opportunity for students.

With your support, our students become business and community leaders, impacting lives through entrepreneurial innovation, leadership and social change.

In the College of Business, we recognize the importance of maximizing this opportunity for our students. Our classrooms are interactive, hands-on and discussion-based. Students emerge with a deeper understanding of real-world, global business concepts.

We do this while meeting the highest standards of academic rigor. The College of Business is accredited by the AACSB and consistently ranked among the top business programs by Poets&Quants, U.S. News and World Report and the Princeton Review, ensuring a business degree from BGSU is a sound, lifelong investment.

Beyond the classroom, students are equipped with the professional skills needed in the workplace, from conducting business on golf course to business dining etiquette. They build a business network through professional student organizations and internships, becoming sought-after, skilled professionals.

Our graduates earn among the highest average starting salaries in the state, and at the time of graduation, 75 percent of our students have secured a full-time job in their specialized field.

By supporting the College of Business on BGSU One Day, you will help make these learning opportunities and outcomes possible. Through matching challenges for the College of Business General Scholarship fund and the Darwin P. Close Professorship fund, every dollar, and the impact on students and their future, is maximized.
