The College of Arts and Sciences is the heart of the BG Experience, a unique community of students, faculty and staff committed to creating new futures. Our students engage the world with creativity, critical thinking, aesthetic awareness and ethical reasoning.

Helping students create meaningful and productive lives, transforming our mutual communities and serving the public good, our faculty also create new knowledge to advance humanity in the arts, the humanities, social sciences, and the sciences. The demand for creative, critical, and innovative problem-solvers is no greater than it is today; the financial demands on our students and their families are also no greater than they are today.
