#BGSUOneDay Update

#BGSUOneDay, Bowling Green State University’s first-ever dedicated Day of Giving, was the largest one-day fundraising effort in BGSU history. Held April 11-12, 2017, the University’s alumni, friends, faculty and staff, students and parents turned out in force online to make the day a huge success.

Final #BGSUOneDay results are as follows:

  • 1,705 gifts to 122 different funds, impacting every area on campus.
  • 1,470 donors (counting each donor once, even if they made more than one gift). Of that total, 724 were BGSU alumni.
  • $326,992 in total gifts and gift commitments, making an incredible difference in the lives of our students.

1,700-plus donations. More than $325,000 raised. One generous Falcon community.

The collective power of Falcon philanthropy changed lives for the world on BGSU’s first-ever Day of Giving. #BGSUOneDay impacted every area on campus, brought more successes than we could have imagined, and reawakened the pride we feel for our University.

On this day, Falcons from throughout the world flocked together to support BGSU students. For those who participated on #BGSUOneDay, we extend a sincere thank you. It is because of you that we are able to make our students’ aspirations a reality.
