As a recently re-established club sport at BGSU, the BGSU Club Rowing Team strives to provide a fun, friendly, and inclusive atmosphere for rowers of any experience level.
Currently, we are using our adolescence as a club sport to our advantage. We have fall and spring crew seasons and winter lifting sessions to build up the confidence of our new rowers and foster team chemistry before we compete. Additionally, being a co-ed sport with undergraduate, graduate, and military students, we have a wide breadth of knowledge and experience from students who are experienced rowers and well-practiced in other fields.
Thanks to our extremely generous friends at the Toledo Rowing Club, we have the privilege of practicing out of the boathouse at Toledo's International Park along the downtown Toledo skyline. With your support through BGSU One Day, we are looking to use the funding to provide team uniforms, cover travel expenses to and from the boathouse, and pay the entry fees to compete in regattas across the state.
