Student Experience

Bowling Green State University is a public university with the special obligation to create public good. We best accomplish this mission by preparing our students to live meaningful and productive lives. Without a doubt, our students face a very complex world and work environment. To ensure each of them is positioned for success, we must target our learning outcomes to be focused not only on knowing, but also on doing.

Office of Residence Life Scholarship Fund

As a public university for the public good, BGSU prides itself on providing social mobility to its students. With nearly 30 percent of its students the first of their family to attend college, BGSU seeks to provide enhanced financial support for these first-generation students to ensure their success.

The William and Joan Downing Military and Veteran Center

Located within the Nontraditional and Military Student Services office, the center has computer stations and free printing. The students greatly appreciate the free coffee, bottled water and variety of snacks that keep them going throughout the day and into the evening. The coffee, water and snacks are funded through your generous support.

Cedar Fair Resort and Attraction Management

BGSU offers the only resort and attraction management degree embedded in a theme park. This innovative partnership provides graduates with leadership opportunities in the resort and attraction management industry. Students enrolling in the RAAM program can earn a full-tuition, two-year scholarship through support from this fund.
