The Falcon Club Scholarship and Success Fund is the primary vehicle to support Bowling Green State University Athletics. It was created to provide scholarship support to the 400+ student-athletes who represent BGSU on the field, in the classroom and in the community.
Support through Falcon Club Scholarship and Success Fund has produced the following student-athlete highlights during the 2017-2018 season:
92% Graduation Success Rate, Highest in the MAC and 10th in the nation
10 sports with a 100% Graduation Success Rate
Nearly 3,000 hours of community service
Women’s Volleyball was co-champion of the MAC regular season
Head Coach Danijela Tomic (Volleyball) and Head Coach Matt Fannon (Women’s Soccer) were both named MAC Coaches of the Year
Kallie Seimet (Volleyball) was named MAC Player of the Year and MAC Defensive Player of the Year, the first time a player has won both awards in the same year
Men’s Cross Country finished 3rd in the MAC, their highest finish since 1995
Women’s Track & Field finished 3rd in the MAC Indoor Championship, their highest finish since 1999
Aliyah Gustafson finished 10th in the shot put at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field National Championships, earning Second-Team All-American honors
Talisa Lemke became the first Falcon in more than 20 years to qualify for the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, qualifying in one-meter diving and on the three-meter boards
Ice Hockey won a playoff series for the 8th consecutive year
