The Women’s Center supports students, staff, faculty and community partners of BGSU to belong, stand out and go far through programing and services that build community, celebrate excellence and activate potential. The Masculinities Education Network at BGSU is an initiative by the Women’s Center to engage male identified students, faculty and staff as leaders in education for the entire BGSU community on gender equity, masculinity and violence prevention. In the 2018-2019 academic year this project will include hosting the Ohio Consortium for Men and Masculinities Annual Conference in Fall 2018, the 1st Annual Power-Based Violence Prevention Conference in Spring 2019 and training for peer education programs by undergraduate and graduate men on gender equity, health masculinities and violence prevention.
Contributions on #BGSUOneDay will support this initiative and are much appreciated!
